Unmoderated Remote Usability Testing: An Approach during Covid-19 Pandemic

Online Nurse Test for Indonesian Competency (ONT UKNI) is a mobile application that was developed to help increase the success rate of nurse competency test participants. By using this application, users can learn more about materials tested and conduct try out as simulation. However, ONT UKNI has not yet passed adequate testing stages, especially in terms User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX). The Covid-19 pandemic situation presents challenges UI/UX process. Testing process which ideally carried face-to-face with respondents get further insight, have be another approach following new normal protocol. This study aims usability an unmoderated remote on USE questionnaire. performed 26 all were nursing profession students Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Respondents 8 tasks answered set questionnaire will tabulated analyzed. results indicate usefulness, ease learning, satisfaction variables Very Good category while use variable gets category. Overall, able provide information areas where are satisfied application. some still room improvement such better UI design implementation gamification.
